It was the best possible way to conclude a month of difficult games and most importantly bad results. When you don't perform well but win the games no one complains. Unfortunately during March we paid each single mistake we did and as a result the team's morale was not anymore the highest possible.

I heard and read a lot of critics about the defensive line of our team and each single time I got frustrated. When I or any of the other defender of the team makes a mistake we admit it and in no way do we try to avoid our responsibilities. I did state for example that when Campbell scored I should have done a better job. However that does not mean in any way that when we lost, it is the defender who lose the game and when we win it is the strikers who win it. We are a team and we lose and win together and this is something everyone should keep in mind.

After December our fans expected as to race for the title and in the worse case end up at one of the four top positions. I think we, overall, did pretty well. It is not easy at all to compete against Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool and leave behind teams like Leeds or Chelsea.

I believe we will be playing for Champions League next season and perhaps then we can discuss the possibility to aim even higher, but each step should be taken at a time.
